HardRider NYC reached out to renowned artist Robert Wayne to commemorate the 9/11 " THE RUN FOR RICHIE " to honor all the fallen on this devastating and historical day. Just to give you some back ground on Richard Allen Pearlman who was a Youth Corps Member of the FHVAC. When he turned 18 he joined the Adult Corps and was a Dispatcher. At age 18, on September 11, 2001, he was working as a messenger for a law firm in lower Manhattan. At the time of the attack on the WTC he was delivering documents to One Police Plaza. He immediately responded to the site of the WTC to render aid to the injured. It is believed that he went into the WTC to help bring out injured people. As he went back in to help others the tower collapsed.

There is a Newsweek article where the front page shows a photo of Richard helping a bloody woman in a stair chair being led out of the WTC. It is believed that when he went back in after this is when the tower collapsed.

The proceeds of each shirt sold will be donated to the volunteer Forest Hills ambulance corp by request of Richie's family. This garment is created from an American made manufacturer from 100 % high quality cotton stitched into the perfect true to fit cut. We as well as Richie's family are grateful for your contribution in keeping one of the last Volunteer ambulance corps in Queens Active and on the job ready to serve it's community in any way they can. Ride Hard for the fallen...
